It may not be as violent or a problem that takes over the United States, but many people are still feeling discriminated against and unwanted. The United States is built on diversity, people from all over the world have taken a chance to find a new path by going to live in a new country. It is important for the United States to accept the diversity and find a way to support the differences by allowing people to feel welcome. After the Civil War, the South did not want slaves to be free, but freedom should not be dedicated to a group or individual. Reconstruction should be the growth and betterment of the country, and it should give positive results, not negative ones.
